I have a 70hp Yamaha on my 15 Rage converted to outboard. The prop that came with the motor seemed way oversized and the dealer reccomended I replace with a 13 x 19 which I just did -
Ok now here is the question - the prop that came off the boat looks like a stainless steel racing prop - it has the following numbers stamped on the hub - 48-75770-22 also what appears to be 8126 - Does anyone know what this all means - I want to list it for sale but dont know what to call it. The dealer mentioned it was a Quicksilver prop but I dont see any markings to that end.

Forgot to mention it was a 15 spline - not sure that it matters but it cant hurt to give all the information you have.

That is a Quicksilver prop with a 22" pitch.
The 8126 is a refurb number which means the prop has been rebuilt once.

Do I need to specify diameter as well as pitch?

If selling on e-bay, a picture and the model # is plenty, most who are looking for that prop(few) will know what they are looking at.
