Does anyone have any photos of a 12 gallon gas tank below the forward seat in a 13' sport (wood seats)? Also, has anyone mounted their batteries below the steering console? I'm trying to shift some weight forward to help avoid porpoising. |

Take a look on ebay, right now there is a 13 GLS with wood seats with an under seat Moeller tank. The seller appeared to do a nice job on the install. I am also interested in this type of installation as I am working on a 1984 Super Sport right now that I will be repowering, and I want to keep the weight forward. Does anyone have any opinions on the Moeller tank compared to the Pate tanks?? |

Here is a photo. Seat is custom made to completely cover the tank. My buddy used a stock thwart seat slid a little forward to allow for the filler cap.
