Posted on another website by a friend of mine - better results than mine a few weeks back:

-Outriggers + 8 ft. antennas
-85 of 300 gal. fuel

17p Rev 4s *flat water*

4500 34 24.2 1.41
5000 38 34.8 1.09

WOT
6250 46 58 0.79

19p Enertias 2-3 ft. following sea

RPM MPH GPH MPG
4000 31 20 1.55
4500 36 25 1.43

As soon as I got on the throttles, I noticed a HUGE difference in hole shot. The boat used to be a dog getting out of the hole (12,000lb. Whaler), but now she actually jumps out with authority. The hole shot might be twice what I used to have. Secondly, I FINALLY have the stern lift I need!!! These big wheels give me A LOT more stern lift and tuck the bow in and keep the bow tucked. I was amazed. I was running 35-40 mph. through a stiff 2-3 ft. sea and no tabs were necessary! I am used to burying the tabs and putting the throttles down, which decreases my speed and efficiency, but not anymore! The boat tucked herself right in and she was taking that chop, chewing it up, and spitting it back out like no other. I've never seen this boat ride like this ever. She doesn't allow the midship part of the hull to occasionally break waves anymore (which causes it to slam), now she just uses her big sharp entry bow and eats it right there. I ran through a 4 ft. yacht wake and the boat just tore through it at 35 mph. No need to slow down. On the following 2-3 ft. sea, I had her trimmed all the way up and the motors trimmed a bit, too. I have to be careful now because I went back behind that same yacht to try bigger waves out and I almost stuffed her into a 5 ft. wake. The bow rides a lot lower and tucked in - in the tail sea as well...which helps her eat it, but she's more prone to stuff now if I'm not careful. I was doing about 41 in that tail sea and the motors popped out once and I barked her once and that's it. Like I said, there's A LOT of needed stern lift. The boat used to slam at times, and in seas like this, but she was just eating today.....

To sum it up, as you can see from my data, I've increased my mileage and speed by 2-3 mph. In flat water, probably 3+ because the first test with the Rev 4's was in flat water. So these numbers are actually a little under what they should be, primarily because I was running through a chop compared to flat water. Hole shot is MUCH improved, top end considerably improved, mid-range cruise noticeably improved....it might be a little early to say this, but these props are what this boat needed...

I want to thank Glen Ersly and the Verado Club for making these props possible for me. I won them in a raffle for the Verado owners in Bimini during the Verado Club Rendezvous. Thanks also to Joey at Sundance Marine for doing the testing with me on the Enertias. Looks like the Momentum will probably make an appearance at the SAIL Club dolphin tourney - just need to complete my crew...need 1-2 more guys.

Thanks for reading and if you have any questions about the props, or want to try out my 17p Rev 4's, feel free to contact me. The Rev 4's are great props too, don't get me wrong, the Enertias are just better for my setup. If anyone has any questions, feel free to IM me...
