biggums1	posted 06-20-2006 12:31 AM ET (US)         Well I did it. Put the Evinrude E-TEC on my 1983 Montauk. WOW Smooth sweet power with a flawless motor. I went with the white salt water series E-TEC 90. The boat gets up real quick on plane and sounds awsome. GPS measured 42 MPH out of the box but I still have to adjust a few settings.
mako34	posted 06-20-2006 08:18 AM ET (US)             I put the white E-TEC 90 on my 69 Katama, I get about 42 WOT on flat water, with 2 adults and 2 kids aboard. I have been happy with my purchase.
