Can you run one tractor tire on your truck? Maybe but it will look stupid and handle like crap

In the late 70's our 13ft got stolen from our dock. We got the boat back a few days later, but without the (brand new Johnson 40HP) engine. That model 13ft Whaler needed a short shaft outboard. Till we could buy a new outboard, we borrowed a longshaft 40 HP from a neighbor.
Teak Oil is correct.... it looked stupid (due to the large "V" of water that shot up around the longshaft midhousing once on plane) and handle like crap (too much extra drag below the waterline).

Will look funny but will work fine with a jackplate.
