jimh	posted 11-18-2006 08:18 AM ET (US)         To improve the throttle response on their Evinrude E-TEC 115-HP, Bombardier has made a change in the throttle cam actuator shape. The throttle cam is part of the linkage between the remote throttle lever and the actual engine throttle plate. To improve the feel of the remote controls, the shape of the throttle cam actuator has been changed slightly. Below are two photographs which show the difference in shape of the throttle cam actuator. The throttle cam from an early production engine: The throttle cam from a recent production engine:
