Author	Topic:   Merc Laser II or Vensura on an E-TEC
kamie	posted 01-30-2007 10:05 PM ET (US)         I currently have both a Laser II 19p and a Mercury Vensura 17p that I used on my now dead Merc 150HP. I was wondering if I should plan on using them for the new E-TEC with the right hub kit of course or should I sell them and move over to the Stiletto Advantage II? Just looking for some thoughts
Tom W Clark	posted 01-30-2007 10:17 PM ET (US)             kamie, You should try them both on your new motor. Both the Laser II and the Vensura are excellent propellers. One will be better than the other on your boat and I won't try to predict which one it will be. The 19" Laser II is going to be VERY similar to a 14-1/4" x 17" Stiletto Advantage II.
kamie	posted 01-31-2007 11:18 AM ET (US)             Thanks Tom, I was running the Vensura on the boat and really liked how she handled. I am interested to see the difference between the Merc and the E-Tec using the same prop.
