Tom,
This is Steve Black, again from San Diego. I will have all necessary parts by Friday to install, twin I Command Gauges, new BRP Dual Binnacle, cables and Engine Tie Bar on my 1991, 27' Walk Around with 250 E Techs. I am also going with Paul's recommendation of twin Rev. 4, 14.62 x 17, four blade props. My last question is engine mounting height. I know, everyone has said leave them where they currently are, the 3rd mounting hole from the top. The reason I am revisiting this, is because last October, I flew to Cape Cod to look at a 1992, 27 Walk Around, with twin Johson 225's. The boat is still for sale, and when I enlarged one of the photos last night, the motors were mounted on the bottom, 4th mounting hole. I drove the boat and it seemed to ride fine when I was there, it was just too far gone to consider buying.

I know, Billy Owens, who owns, Toy Too, just put twin 300HP HPDI's on his 1992 27' Walk Around. I spoke with him once, but cannot find his contact info. I would like to ask him what mounting hole his new motors are on. The photos of the new motors on Whaler Central, look pretty darn high. If I do not get in contact with him, I will stay where I am and see what happens on the next test run. if you happen to know how to contact Billy, please give him my Cell-619-666-3858, or post his response please.
I'm almost there, and the Albacore/Bluefin are some 240 miles away, heading North......

Thanks, Steve

Somehow Billy got this message, and called today. Thanks to anyone who passed it onto him.
