Just purchased a Mercury 60 with standard gearcase for my Dauntless 14. Ive been searching for others with the same rig and think that Whaletosh may be my guy. He doesnt have an e-mail to contact him. Im trying to lessen the guesswork and time consuming sea trials with prop selection. I found a thread that Whaletosh posted that states he has solved his planning problems with the motor but could not find definite info on what size prop and pitch Whaletosh used. A 10 5/8 by 12 three blade Michigan Wheel was stated in the thread but im not sure if this is the prop that solved his problem. If you are out there Whaletosh please respond. Or if anyone else has the same setup or suggestions, help would be appreciated. |
