I came across this boat and am uncertain what model it is, or even if it is a Boston Whaler. The owner said it was a 19' Whaler, and obeviously it isnt. It looks like a 15' to me, but I am not even positive of that. I only have these 2 pics and havnt seen the boat in person. The owner is kinda loose in his description of what he has. The boat has been used as a work boat, and it is about 2 hours away from me.

The owner will give me the hull for free if I want it, but I dont want to take it if it isnt even a Boston Whaler. He wants $1500 for the motor.

Any help would be appreciated

Ray

That is a classic 15' Whaler hull with an aftermarket console.

I thought it looked like a 15' to me also.

I have a 13' now and am looking for something larger, but if this is free I wonder if I should take it or pass this along to another CW member.

A free Whaler and you are debating this for what reason????

It is a bare hull, and a project boat and I already have my 13' for lake fishing that I want to keep. I think at this point I should keep focused on finding an 18-19 Outrage for the ocean that I really want. Also, the wiffie may not totally understand another boat showing up at our house, even if it is free....and then my wanting to acquire the Outrage when the right one comes along.

But, I agree...passing up on a free Whaler...I must be nuts.

I'm with Nick. It's free!!! If it wasn't in California I'd be there yesterday. You can never have to many boats, especially Whalers. Besides wives usually don't notice the first 3 or 4.

I just passed on the contact info to Fishmore (Tim), hopefully it turns out to be something he can use. It is always nice to see something passed on to a member.

Tim, let us know if it works out for you

Well so far this has not worked out. I am still holding out hope. I tried to call him but could not reach him. Will let you know if anything develops.
