What mixture ratio [of gasoline to oil] is best for my 1992 Johnson 70?

If your 1992 Johnson 70-HP has the VRO or VRO2 or OMS automatic oil mixing system, it will automatically mix the gasoline and oil in the proper ratio. If you need to pre-mix the gasoline and oil, the ratio is almost universally recommended to be 50:1.
