I just put a new Keel Sheild on the bow of my 15' sport (got a pretty good deal on E-bay for off-white, 6', and under $100 shipped). It took a couple hours, but turned-out pretty nice I think.
I don't have any experience with these "add-ons" and wondered if they hold-up well over time - I'm worried most about de-lamination from the 3M tape.
Also, because I have too many whalers I'm think about buying another one or two and wondered if one brand is really any better than the other?
