I'm debating repowering my 1994 19' Outrage with the new Yamaha F200, couple of things for discussion. I have a buddy with an 18' Outrage and F150, he tells me it is plenty fast but didn't have any definitive numbers. Are the 18' & 19' Outrage weights/performance about the same?
Also, I read some blog info that the F200 at WOT wasn't generating much more power than the 150....going outside the max HP rating is a bit of a risk so I wouldn't do it if I didn't get another 7-10 MPH. Suzuki 175 is also an option as well as any of the V6 E-TECs.....lot going on in this little brain but I thought you folks would be a good forum to bounce ideas off of.

To further on this point, I believe the dry weight of my 19' Outrage is 1,900 lbs.

You might want to look at this thread about the Mercury 3.0L 150 Four Stroke that some of us have put on the classic Outrage 22's.
