Hi. [Give me] suggestions and maybe some pictures for a bow mount trolling motor for a Boston Whaler SPORT 15 with the tall bow rail. I would appreciate any and all input. I angle for Striper on a tidal river, and I think a bow mount [trolling motor] would have far better control than a transom mount. Just have no idea as to how a bow mount would work with the bow rail. Thank you very much,

I think you are asking about an electric motor for a trolling motor. Please confirm if that is correct.

One solution is to use a stern mount motor on the bow; you would then turn the head of the motor around so that it points in the same direction as the prop (this is possible on most Minn Kota's, not sure about motor guide). Google "trolling motor mount" to find an L-shaped mount to bolt to the boat, allowing the stern mount motor to be mounted in the bow.
With this arrangement, you can tilt the motor up without hitting the rail; then use the collar adjustment on the motor to slide the motor into the boat, under the bow rail.
If it were me, though, I would remove the rail altogether, and mount a bow-mount troller up there. What I described above will work but is kind of a pain. And I find bow rails to be a nuisance when fishing from the bow. I removed the bow rail from my Outrage as soon as I bought it.
