My 1995 TENDER 11 was just refitted [with] a [TOHATSU] 20-HP four-stroke-power-cycle outboard engine. Since I raised the motor 0.5-inch [the top speed is now guessed to be] 29-MPH, and prior to raising was measured on a GPS receiver to be 27-MPH. I have not changed the factory-supplied propeller, which is a 10-pitch three-blade aluminum propeller. With my 200-lbs carcass and with my wife aboard (who sits in front of me, midship) [the TENDER 11] runs 21-MPH. Does anyone have experience with SOLORA four-blade? Have done lots of propeller changing on other boats with varied success. Thanx, chappy

Someone gave me a 4 blade stainless prop, no name, no numbers of any kind, took it to a prop shop and it measures 10x10, I have been running it seems to be better that the alum one I had. |
