Brunswick announced their Mercury Marine brand would make a new propeller, the ENERTIA ECO, about 14-months ago. The ENERTIA ECO has been actually been available for sale and use for about ten months.

I do not recall any first-hand reports with actually measured data for speed and fuel economy for the ENERTIA ECO, other than a report by TEAK OIL. If anyone has purchased, used, and tested an ENERTIA ECO propeller, it would be interesting to hear about the performance.

Just bringing this back to the top. I'd especially like to see it matched against a Rebel prop of the same pitch. I read the test report where they tested it against a REV4 prop and basically excused it as a marketing ploy to make it look better than it actually is.

I'd buy one if it proved itself against a prop that is already acknowledged as being more efficient than most other props.

The new BOATING magazine has a short blurb on the Enertia ECO propeller.

I tested this prop against the Rebel and Rev 4 you can see my results in the thread titled "Outrage 22 300 E-tec" or something close to that.

The Eco likes to be run low on the transom on heavy deep v boats to get the numbers Mercury is claiming

The report that TEAK OIL refers to as being available (above) is mentioned in the first article in the thread, and a hyperlink is provided to that discussion in that first article.
