Brunswick announced their Mercury Marine brand would make a new propeller, the ENERTIA ECO, about 14-months ago. The ENERTIA ECO has been actually been available for sale and use for about ten months. I do not recall any first-hand reports with actually measured data for speed and fuel economy for the ENERTIA ECO, other than a report by TEAK OIL. If anyone has purchased, used, and tested an ENERTIA ECO propeller, it would be interesting to hear about the performance. |

Just bringing this back to the top. I'd especially like to see it matched against a Rebel prop of the same pitch. I read the test report where they tested it against a REV4 prop and basically excused it as a marketing ploy to make it look better than it actually is. I'd buy one if it proved itself against a prop that is already acknowledged as being more efficient than most other props. |

The new BOATING magazine has a short blurb on the Enertia ECO propeller. Butch |

I tested this prop against the Rebel and Rev 4 you can see my results in the thread titled "Outrage 22 300 E-tec" or something close to that. The Eco likes to be run low on the transom on heavy deep v boats to get the numbers Mercury is claiming |

The report that TEAK OIL refers to as being available (above) is mentioned in the first article in the thread, and a hyperlink is provided to that discussion in that first article. |
