I have a 2012 Supersport 170 with the Mercery 90 fourstroke engine. I am wondering if anyone has propeller suggestions for improving overall performance? Any thoughts on a composite propeller vs. the standard alum? Is an SS upgrade worth it for this boat and if so, what would be best? Used in Puget sound - protected saltwater. Thanks a ton in advance! Any other "upgrades" people have been happy about making to this boat (new to me)?

You do not want to use a composite propeller in anything but an emergency.
Puget Sound has a lot of driftwood and other types of debris and an aluminum propeller will be damaged very quickly around here.
A good stainless steel propeller will pay dividends by being more durable while also offering higher speeds and better fuel economy and improved boat handling.
I recommend either a 12-3/4" x 21" Mercury Laser II or a 13-1/4" x 19" Stiletto Advantage.
