towboater	posted 11-07-2006 06:08 AM ET (US)         The voltmeter is not showing a charge. [The boat] has fairly new blue-top gel [batteries]. All connections are clean. As much as I understand internal combustion engines and electricity, I don't know squat about how outboards charge batteries.Thanks for [a] link or any basic information. mk

I will test, and report here before I do anything drastic. Come to think of it, my Fluke multi purpose tester burned up.
