Greetings. I just put the Garmin 4210 on my Outrage. Seems to be a great all in one unit. I'm trying to convert my [stored way point] data to the Garmin format (.GPX) from the Lowrance format (.USR) Questions to Garmin tech support before the purchase said it was easy. I'm not getting the same response now that it is paid for and mounted.

Lowrance's website offers an online converter into .usr, but I need to go the other way. My online searches have been fruitless.

Thanks-
Mike

I've used this program to convert Raymarine to Garmin numbers.

ContinuousWave is OK, but it is the people who visit here who are really great.

The more generic case is "What OTHER formats do both support."

A format that seems to be emerging as the interchange format
is .GPX (GPs eXchange). Garmin supports it. Dunno if
Lowrance does, but I wouldn't be surprised. Save it in the right format, load it into the new unit. No conversion
program required.
