My Boston Whaler boat (Dauntless model) was made October of 1999. I have no original documents as I bought it used. Behind the battery selector is a protective box with [circuit breakers identified as] DC Main, Digital +, and Bilge. The DC Main [circuit breaker] is a 50-ampere [circuit breaker]; it is marked. The other two [circuit breakers] are so old the paper marking is gone. What [are the current ratings for the] for the Digital and Bilge [circuit breakers]? My [electrical] bilge [pump] isn't working, even though the console [circuit] breaker [illuminates]. I [plan] to replace the [circuit] breakers in the back box due to age and corrosion. Thanks.

You can get information specific to certain models of Boston Whaler boat from Boston Whaler customer service. Contact Chuck Bennett at the Boston Whaler factory and he should be able to help you with this.

On the website

whalerparts.com

you can look at the parts list for your hull. You neglected to give the particular model. For a 18-foot DAUNTLESS c.1999, the parts list shows

ITEM 56--BREAKER, Manual Reset, 10-Ampere
Cf.: http://whalerparts.com/Diagrams/1999/180%20Dauntless/pb180da2.pdf

This is probably the item you are looking for.

For later models, wiring diagrams are available. For example, see

http://whalerparts.com/Diagrams/2008/180%20Dauntless/0740118DNTSHT1-2. pdf

This shows two circuits wired directly to the battery that by-pass the primary distribution switch. These circuits are

BILGE PUMP 5 (Amperes)
STEREO MEMORY 15 (Amperes)

I don't know why the stereo memory would be fused at such a high current.

thanks very much. That looks good for my 220 also.
Do you think the "stereo memory" which on mine is listed "Digital +", might be for the GPS and fish finders? That's all I could think of as being "digital"
