skred	posted 07-30-2009 05:22 PM ET (US)         I posed a similar question earlier, but I need to clarify my inquiry: I understand the operating method of outboard tachs. This digital tach is a bit different in that it has 3 DIP switches inside the tach housing, accessible through a small hole in the back. I searched, but couldn't find any references to what the switches should be set at for my 2004 40-hp 2-stroke Yamaha. The manual is of no help at all.
