rld1017	posted 02-26-2010 08:53 PM ET (US)         I have a problem on a EFI 175 mercury runs 60 mph but not low speed. Hard to crank ,low speed starts performing around 2500rpm . Computer swaped all controls tested. Fuel good and clean. Will the stator cause this kind of problem. Resitance is not off much but a little diffrence in coils. Motor started to surge when backing down on throttle. It smells like it flooding at idel. Has been tested at several shops with no help. I dont like being a parts changer with out being sure.
