I just recently came across newer information about the Lowrance HDS units and their NMEA-2000 support for various data groups. Here is a listing of the NMEA-2000 parameter group numbers that the current HDS Gen 2 devices can support. I believe that NMEA has been encouraging its members to publish this information about their NMEA-2000 certified products. It is great to see Lowrance provide this information about the HDS units. I found this information on the Lowrance website, but due to the manner in which it was presented it was impossible for me to simply link to it. I have taken the time to transcribe the information and present it here.

I am looking for more information on the NMEA-0183 sentences that the HDS devices can accept from other devices. I do not believe this is explicitly documented in the Lowrance literature.
