posted 11-12-2013 09:47 AM ET (US)         The Standard-Horizon VHF Marine Band fixed mount radio with AIS receiver, their model GX2150, is presently being offered by several vendors for a rather attractive price of about $270. There is also a $50 rebate offer in effect, which brings the net price to about $220. I cannot imagine you will be able to find a high-quality radio with AIS for less.
