Verrone09	posted 02-13-2014 10:02 PM ET (US)         I'm 99-percent-sure that my problem is in the trim button [of the remote outboard engine shift and throttle control]. From the [remote] throttle my [outboard engine] will only go down and not up. I know [the cause is] not the hydraulic system because [the outboard engine] trims just fine from the button that is actually on the [outboard engine cowling]. I've seen this throttle control on many [Boston Whaler MONTAUK model boats], so I'm pretty sure these throttle controls are common. What brand throttle control is [shown in the linked image below] Where can a new button be purchased? The remote throttle control image
Tom W Clark	posted 02-13-2014 10:07 PM ET (US)             That is a Teleflex SL-3 single binnacle control. The replacement Teleflex twin switch part number is 315590. About $6 to $8 depending on the vendor.
