The 800 series feature a wide aspect ratio 800 x 480 pixel 7-inch color display, and consists of four models:

The 900 series features a wide aspect ratio 8-inch color display, and consists of five models:

--999ci HD SU Combo
--999ci HD SI KVD Combo
--959ci HD DI Combo
--959ci HD Combo
--959ci HD XD Combo (Extreme Depth, up to 3,000-feet)

The 100 series features a 4:3 aspect ratio 10.4-inch color display, and consists of five models:

--1199ci HD SI Combo
--1199ci HD SI KVD Combo
--1159ci HD DI Combo
--1159ci-HD Combo
--1159 HD XD Combo (Extreme Depth, up to 3,000-feet)

The 800 series can use Humminbird LakeMaster, LakeMaster AutoChart, and Navionics Gold/HotMaps.

The 900 and 1100 can use all of those plus Navionics Platinum+ charts.

Network connectivity using Ethernet is included on all three series. Via Ethernet the devices can also link to NMEA-2000 networks.

The inclusion of the XD or Extreme Depth models seems to signal the entry of Humminbird into saltwater fishing SONAR. Previously the Humminbird brand was associated with freshwater fishing in shallower water.
