Topic:   Garmin Handheld Tide Charts

posted 03-11-2014 07:51 PM ET (US)         Currently using an old Garmin GPSMAP 76 that has built in tide charts. It will find where I am and then make a tide chart for the current date or I can pick a location and a future or past date and it will build me a chart. If anyone used a newer Garmin handheld that uses the optional Bluechart maps particularly the HUS039R (US All & Canadian West Coast g2 map), does the tide chart work the same way? The reason this is so important is most places I fish have a better bite on an incoming tide. I also like to plan trips in other places based on future tides.
