Fearless Leader (W1) has just informed me via email of the upcoming Wye Island Regatta on 9/15.
Who's planning on going and where will everyone launch? My good sense tells me that attempting to launch from Schnaitman's (Wye Landing) will have me walking to my boat from the Wye Oak. I could come from the Narrows which would be about 10-12 miles, but I'm still looking for an alternative. It's really a damned shame - I live right across the street from the Wye River but still don't have a "neighborly" launch site. Perhaps I should buy a waterfront home - but then I'd have to sell my Montauk! Naaaaaaaa...

Bear, May not be able to make it
Boat is in the shop due to Ficht injection oil leak is getting more than I can stand. After 2 hours of use the out drive was covered. I Used my Digital camera this time and over nighted the dealer pictures with a detailed letter of use. They said that just what they needed and I was very specific this time. They sounded very confident they would stop the leak.

Thanks for the offer. I thought I would hook up with you or Bear but with the recent chain of events I think I'll Stay home with my wife and Child this weekend. Michelle is pretty shaken up and doesn't feel safe. I'll ketch up with you guys the next time.
