waterwal	posted 03-16-2003 01:14 PM ET (US)         A post on the Rhode Island Rendezvous regarding getting meetings in Newport and Montauk got me thinking that it would be interesting to see some whaler folks get together at "model locations," take some photos and post them. The ones I'm aware of are beautiful places..well worthy of visits. Here would be a preliminary list of model sites. Any others that people know the location of? -Sakonnet -Newport -Montauk -Cohasset -Nauset

andiamo	posted 03-17-2003 09:57 AM ET (US)             As it was my post on the Rhode Island thread that started this, it seems to me that we have the makings for a great cruise from Montauk to Newport to Sakonnet to the Vinyard and on to Nantuket with the final stop being in Boston its self. It would sort of be like the New York Yacht Club Cruise. I wonder if we could get Boston Whaler to sponser it as it could generate great press.
