http://www.lemta.com/boatshows/cedarpoint/ Anyone else going? We'll be there Friday afternoon or Saturday, depending on weather. Camping at East Harbor State Park at Lakeside and will be in the water the rest of the weekend, weather permitting. -- |

Moe, Just heard the local weather report - calling for rain most of this weekend. Hope that doesn't put a damper on your boat show plans. Cheers Dan |

Dan, as you already know, the weather held off and we had a great weekend. As we were heading back out to the parking lot Friday afternoon, there was a 13 along the seawall west of the marina with an old wood boat rafted together. Yours? We didn't go out Friday, but launched from Mazurik both Saturday and Sunday (too much seaweed at the East Harbor State Park launch for me). I really like that facility. I was a bit disappointed in the show. No one there with marine electronics, and no Monk 36 that I'd been wanting to see. Funny thing is we saw one headin' in to Cedar Point Saturday. |

Yes, weather turned out pretty good! Nope, wasn't my 13 footer. I had to change my boating plans - unfortunately. Really wanted to get out on the Bay dern it. Dan |

We saw your Dad at the show Friday. Saturday afternoon, we decided to head over and look at Cedar Point marina from the water. It was 2-4' going over and a lot of fun. By the time we headed back across the mouth toward Marblehead, it had picked up to 3-5' and was whitecapping. Nevertheless, we ran out to Portside Marina and then did a counterclockwise loop around Kelleys. By that time, we decided it was more like work than play, and headed back in to Mazurik. -- |
