I don't see much activity on the other thread, and because it started two years ago I'll let it die. Just wondering if anyone is coming to Gasparilla this year? Swellmonster? I'll be on my 20 Outrage (1996) blue T-top. Stop by if you need a beer of just want to say hi.

phatwhaler out.

Where are we meeting? I am coming from the Manatee river so under the skyway......calm seas only of course. If it is Small craft, don't wait for me.

Gasparilla’s over until next year. Pat (swellmonster) really went out of his way to make this event fun. He provided large and small pirate flags, skull caps, and cooked one of his famous breakfasts. I stayed at Pat and Lorraine’s house and even had garage care for the 17’. Saturday, we put in at a nice park up the river. A few short minutes later we were at his friend’s Bruce & Monica’s house for breakfast under the oak trees. Pat’s friends Jimmy and Laura joined us. The river was active with boats heading out with all sorts of decorations. After that, Pat donned his full pirate costume & we headed out to the harbor where boats were beginning to raft-up around areas where live music was playing. It didn’t take long before the bead wars began. Collecting them was fun but flipping them back to others was even more fun. Sometimes it seemed that beads were coming from all directions and got stuck in all kinds of places like around your hands while trying to maneuver around boats traveling in all directions. It truly was a challenge that was not aided by the wind, whack-o’s, or fish & game hard-asses.

We finally rafted up with a group near a parade route bridge. I don’t know how he does it but Pat has a knack for picking spots. Five minutes after we were secured, a boat with three fine strippers rafted-up next the smirk man. We had to endure about 4 hours of various degrees of taunting and undress… to the limit!!! After a while the male crew on the boat had to unload some of their beads on us because they had too many. Smirkless… uh… wasn’t.

All and all, the weather wasn’t too bad. How bad could it have been if three girls gan go largely naked for hours? There must have been several hundred thousand people in the area and thousands of boats.

This was one for the books (or at least photo CD's)!

I have photos and will try to assemble them in groups of “PG”, “R” & “XXX” for those who want to share our fun.

My next post will describe how to view or get them.

Smirk :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Smirk (formerly known as Smirkless):
I'm still at my training seminar and laughing about your fortunate anchorage choice. We'll talk soon.

MMMMMM....

Royalties?????

What can I say?? How can I top this next year? The only reason we rafted up with them is so people would spot us! ;) Smirkless and his boat are tops. He is very pleasant, gracious and quite the acrobat. Too bad there are no pictures or avalable witnesses on that one ;)

FWIW, I saw Phatwhalers 20 3 or 4 times during the event. I waved, but that was futile. The only talented and creative person to strap on a cushion on the back of his motor plus along his sides. That Coastie stuff is rubbing off on his boat for sure!!

For Hommasassa, Ill bring the lapdance, whoops! Laptop for the CD's :) Just Joking, would want anyone to be in a grind.... ;)
