We not only had a great time at the rendezvous seeing and meeting everyone, we had a great ride back through more country roads - since I got us lost again. We had lunch at a great country kitchen place even though we were the youngest people in the place by a wide margin. Hay, I may have had a broken or cracked rib or two but at least I didn't have a walker, scooter or other mechanical assistance. Almost made me feel good. Back at work now but trying to avoid hicups, coughs and deep laughs. Looking forward to Stuart, Smirk :-) |

Parade starts 12-1ish, BASH starts whenever-ish (friday night-that happened a few yrs back-lesson-never get the keg the day BEFORE:) Anyhoo, all are welcome, boat or no boat, the public ramp is just around the corner, And a few of my neighbors docks, that don't have boats ,can probably be bought for a case of beer. |

In reality we can only do it about 11 months a year. It does get into the 50's down here in Late December early January :) |

Thanks to all who came for a great weekend! Next time will have some captions to go with the pics. We took the backroads home too and used half the gas that we did flying up the turnpike. Hope Smirk is feeling better and gonna be ready for Stuart. Hope to see everyone again soon! Chris |

Ok, this is my first time on this page - and now i know what you guys were talking about. how can you tell who is who anyways on this thing? oh well. it's michelle. that mustard hat that bigshot has actually belonged to me. chris got it in the mail, and he gave it to me - he said it matched my yellow "a women's place is at the helm" shirt. i don't think so! it was so ugly, i refuse to wear it. so chris asked me if he could give it to bigshot. so smitty and big have matching hats now. better them than me, right? besides, it looks so much more fashionable on them. i'm glad you guys enjoy it. i really had a lot of fun taking the pictures - you're very welcome. the weather was just beautiful on saturday. i hope everyone else had a nice time too. thank you for the wonderful cook-out and all tasty items everyone bought. the sausages at lunch was great! And thank you to chris too for making the pulled pork and the taylor ham sandwiches. i'm very fortunate to have a husband that's a good cook. : ) |

Thanks for the aht Michelle! Smitty actaully took Swell's hat which was the one he promised me.....all works in the end:) Pork roll is not too difficult to cook, if that is all it takes Chris to impress the Ms, I envy you. Took the wife out for her B-Day.......Taco Bell as usual. Was actually talking about this shit this morning with the wife. She stated how at first she thought I was a looney for being on the forum so much, then after I think 6 rendezous she has sooo many new friends. She said how she loves Smitty and Janis/Tom, Chris/Michelle, Pat/lorraine, and Al/girls, and Ward/family.....I thought she went fruity. I said also we have Don(inhernet) and Frank and never forget Bill C. She said who is Frank....so I told her(fno).....Oh right! Anyway point is 20 minutes later I get a call....From Freakin Frank(fno) on his way to Sarasota and wanted to meet. So I packed up my New AG Edwards hat and never been worn sweatshirt and went south. Saw some nice rays and dolphin, etc but no Frank......next time. Again I had a great time and great seeing everyone again or for the first time(Don & bird flipper). Gonna be in Orlando this week.....anyone? 941-545-3808...st Patty's? |
