I had planned to go up to Beaufort for this w/end to see these fine vessels and finnally (six years later) have a honeymoon with my beloved. Unfourtunatly work and finances made me abort it the trip. Then I find myself having to go for other duties on Saturday!
When the work part of the trip was done, we worked our way to the waterfront only to find we had missed the parade and the ships were at sea, not due back for another couple of hours.
We only had 45-50 minutes to spare before we had to return to Wilmington. So we didn't see anything boat wise, just hundreds of fat tourists!

I pick up the Wilminton Star News this morning (Sunday) and they have a phot of the Cisne Branco (Brazilian navy square rigger) and in the foreground to the right is a Whaler!!

Looks like a Montauk with an older Evinrude motor...

Is it a CW member?

Happy Fourth to those that celebrate it... (I'm English, so you all probably don't like me that much right now...ha ha ha)

Have fun, be carefull, see you on the water!

Simon.
