Some of my favorites. I have pictures of everyones boat, I think, so if you want them, e-mail me. Peter's classic 13 http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/rend07012.jpg another classic, complete with driver http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/rend07019.jpg Tom, on the way to a prop change http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/rend07033.jpg a picture says a thousand words, http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/rend07008.jpg Pierce, nice wood work, now about that motor http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/rend07016.jpg playing with the current in Deception Pass, this boat was not with our group http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/rend07024.jpg definitly not a beginner kayak class http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/rend07029.jpg Bob and Pierce, lost and looking for the bridge, psss't turn around http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/rend07028.jpg I was going to spend the night at the dock, but we got invaded by the fishermen again so I bailed to Hope Island http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/rend07042.jpg On the way in on Sunday at the hole in the wall, south end of the Swinomish slough, remember, red-right-returning http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/rend07044.jpg Nice to meet all of you, John

Great pics John! I was early, tide wise, to get the boat out when I left, so I buzzed around Hope Island a few times, then tied up to one of the bouy's on the north side of Hope and casted a line(fished) for while. Then I hauled out at the ramp around 5pm. While flushing the motor out, I got my insulated spark plug wire pliers and found out it is the top cylinder that is running on and off. Time for the carb rebuild/cleaning now. It was truly a pleasure meeting all of you. I hope we all had a fun/safe trip home! Till then, see ya on the water!!!! |

For more pictures, go to my profile & click on 2007 rendezvous. We apologize for not getting any photos of Pierce's or JMartin's boats. Maybe I inhaled too much Cheez Whiz. Mark |

It was great meeting all of you, Carson and I really had a good time. You all are so nice and have such nice boats. I know my boy was a bit shy, but he was very proud of how much you all liked our little boat. Here are a few of the pictures I took: http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h53/blkmtrfan/PNWrond07/ Thanks Scott |

Well, we had a wonderful time. Even the girls enjoyed it and couldn't stop talking about all the nice Whalers the whole way home. It was sure fun to meet everyone. Next year, perhaps I'll have a little more energy and can do something a little more organized. Deception Pass was a great central location and we may want to consider a reapeat next year. Of course, there are lots of good options. |

It was nice to see pictures of all the nice Whalers. I am sorry I missed the get together. I hope to be able to make it next year. It looks like it was a little colder this year than last year. It sure is hard to hit good weather around here, especially in June. Doug Vazquez |

Shuckie darn if that boat is not set up nice! Look how it rides. My goal for next year is to learn how to take "action" shots and get some nice pictures of the boats running on plane. John |
