All - When: August 10 (Low tide is 1 p.m.) Destination: Brave Boat Harbor, 4 miles north of the river and 2.5 miles south of York Harbor. Rally points are Eliot ramp and the outer bouy. Brave Boat Harbor which is a little inlet with a great low tide flat in between the two rivers. It's a nice spot to anchor up. Bring the family, some food and enjoy. Photos and chart: http://home.comcast.net/~nathan007/Brave%20Boat%20024.jpg Who's in? |

Here is the chart. Brave Boat is marked with a red anchor. http://home.comcast.net/~nathan007/BraveBoat%20Chart.pdf The entrance is difficult to spot from the open water. Here are the coordinates at the inlet: 43D 05.935' N The chart is somewhat misleading. There is actually a shallow channel all along the flat at low tide as you can see from the pictures CBO linked to above. |
