Is anyone going to be up in the Apostles next week?
I'm way behind getting my 22 Outrage ready, but am hoping to get it ready by mid-week.

We won't be making the 1,400-mile trailer trek to the Apostle Islands this year, but I anticipate those who do will find very cold water. We are just back from northern Lake Michigan, and found the water temperature was about 47-degrees. The ice-cold water precluded any swimming. If Lake Michigan is that cold, then Lake Superior must be even colder. Be careful out there.

Sorry I missed you, Dave.
The water is still frigid, as JimH surmised.
Ended up being not great boating weather. I we made one quick trip to Stockton and froze our butts.
Water temp was upper 40s right off the beach, however the open water temps are still in the 30s across the lake. Give that the last ice was spotted less than 3 weeks ago, this shouldn't be a surprise.
