I plan to fish mainly on the cheseapeak bay. I am thinking about buying a whaler this winter in the 20-22 foot range. I am leaning towards an outrage model for smoother ride, deeper v etc. I want to purchase a used boat. What would be a fair price range for well kept 1998 21 foot or a 22 foot whaler outrage with the largest outboard motor, trailer, and the usual (quality) electronics. i know this is a hard question but i just want to get a range noyt an exact price thnaks ron Ps if you would recommend another model please let me know or a different year which would be more economical. Thanks again

Ron,
I know that we have been bouncing e-mails back and forth about my 21 Outrage. Here is the deal: My boat went for $54,900 at the boat show last month, I bought it for less through connections with a local dealer who needed legal work. I still paid in the high 30's. Is the boat worth it?? Absolutely! I challenge you to find a better quality boat with performance to match and a factory that stands behind their product 100%. These boats command a premium but deserve it. If you are ineterested in my boat I will send you digital pics...you wont be disappointed.
Brett
