Thinking about the 87 temptation on ebay, does anyone own a simular boat? Any thoughts?

Check out the thread "The most unique whaler I've ever seen" in the general fourm. It is about that 87 Temptation on ebay.

I was going to go take a look today, but got stuck in the office.

I think the one that you're referring to is the 22 temptation (Whaler cuddy) that probably has two blown motors on a bracket.

I sent a note saying I might want to get a year or two out of those motors, and he said to check out new motors...I am suspicious that the ad says motors fired right up in Sept...the probably did, then seized. ;-).

But the price....you could probably make it work out, even if you had to buy new motors right away.

The Temptations were tough to fish and dock (no easy way to get to the bow.) If you like that sort of boat, it's interesting.

I like them and I would be interested in it except for demographics. Other thing is why has it been on E-Bay like 7 times and sold everytime I think. Same thing goes with that Guardian with 1 engine and that 11' that was $6500 now $3500 and still no bids. Do these people like paying fees or are they misrepresenting their crafts and buyers keep backing out upon seeing it?
