Might be trading the Revenge in for one of these. Dealer has a 2001 holdover that he wants to sell. Has a hard top, cruising package, windlass, etc.- but no engines (right on- bring on the Yamahas). I need some help on pricing this boat. Anyone own one (or know of one for sale) and willing to give some information? Would like to negotiate with some hard numbers if I can. E-mail me if you prefer.

Thanks!

I am looking at the same boat. It is priced with the 200 Merc Opti's. I inquired about 4 Stroke Yams. It added approximately $8K to the price. I also was told this is the last year to get a Whaler with Yams too. I think you will not be able to get any credit toward another brand of motors should you decide to change out the Mercs in 2003.

2001 Conquest 26 has been traded in for a spring delivery Outrage 24. In 2004, the original Optimaxes were replaced with 225 Yamaha four strokes. The Conquest has about 55 hours on the Yamahas. Redundant electronics: Raymarine GPS and Garmen GPS/bottom electronics were upgraded to color/Waas in 2004. Original Raytheon radar is monochrome. Backup Humminbird 3D is monochrome. It's now on the market at Hance & Smythe in Manahawkin NJ.
