I have a month old 2002 Ventura 210 with a 2002 200 Optimax with the Smart Gauge package. I was going to the fishing reefs this weekend, and I started out with half a tank of gas showing on the fuel gauge...it definitely was working correctly, but while I was running to the reefs, the Smart Gauges started to blink with the gas light and the fuel gauge showed I was empty! I shut down the power to restart everything, and the fuel gauge went back to about a quater tank full then went back down to zero...I definitely have gas in the tank, I even put 25 more gallons in at the dock after returning back to the marina, and the fuel gauge still read empty. Has anyone else had similar problems? Is the fuel tank float or something like that broken? I will call the dealer later today. |
