prm1177	posted 03-14-2003 07:55 PM ET (US)         Trying to track down the factory stowage area for the stern light on my new to me Outrage. The original owner never took the boat out in the dark and never used it. He doesn't know where it is. Any ideas where it might be stored?
aubv	posted 03-14-2003 08:51 PM ET (US)             Look on the under side of the rear indeck locker. The light is held in place with two rubber c clamps. I can send a picture if you need.
prm1177	posted 03-16-2003 01:41 PM ET (US)             Found it. Dis-gusting. It had been left in the locker for 2 1/2 years while the boat was stored in a yard. Corroded with water in the light bezel. Is there a generic replacement (say at West Marine) I can get for it, or do I have to pay Whaler pricing from a dealer?
