Has anyone ever set up the front 7/8" stainless rails on Starboard and Port sides with a fastened bumper holder w/ bumper to use just in case to having to tie off to those out of the way marinas? Don't need to have those reg. numbers rubbed off! HC

2 each 16" fenders with about 6 foot of line work pretty good.
I wouldn't carry them all of the time because they take up valuable space on the boat.
The boaters World catalog has different sizes, colors, styles, pictures of how they hang & prices.

Happy Jim...

I am looking for two Taylor Made type fenders with a CAGE mounted to the forward part of the Stainless Steel 7/8 inch grab rail for ease of carrying and getting to... I sent an e-mail to Taylor made and am looking for the right set up to mount to underside of the rail with SS clamps and cage for sliding the 16" or so fender in and out for the rest assured accessability and them never in the way... HC

I think I saw that in the Boaters World catalog too. If I remember right, it was a simple SS wire cage.

I use 2 plastic clamps I bought at Boaters World. They snap on/off the top rail, feed the rope through and then knot it. You can adjust the length of the rope, therefore the height of the bumper. When I am underway, I either snap them off and store the bumpers in the CC or just flip the bumpers inside. They work very well and you can take the bumpers off when you're home.
