What accounts for the large increase in weight from the old 13' and 15' versus the new 130 & 150 ?

Is it additional layers of fiberglass ? Are they more solid than the older ones, almost like commercial hulls ?

thx -

Well the 150 is 6.5 ft wide. I think the old version was more narrow. If someone could post good measurements on the old 15, I could put the 150 information up so they can be compared.

I see that the 150 is 2" longer, 10' wider. The draft on the 150 states 7" compared to 8" on the older hull. This measurement I find hard to believe though. The 150 sits up visibly higher.

The 130 is 1" shorter, 6" wider with 1" more draft than the original 13'.

Maybe those fiberglass consoles and seats add to the weight too versus the wood.

Question answered.
