Does anyone own or have performance details on this OR 210 2003? 225 hp Merc fourstroke? Just put a down payment on a 2003 210. Xmas present for my dad and I. Can't wait to get her out on the water. Any advice or performance details would be greatly appreciated... We are upgrading from a '84 montauk.Daryle

Your top speed should be in the low to mid 40's, but that is a guestimate based on my 1996 21 Outrage with a 225HP Evinrude 2-stroke. It's actual top speed was 46mph.The top ends should be similar, but the mid range could be different because of the different torque curves. The hulls are different too but the weight is in the same range. TM |

I have a 2002 Outrage 210 with an Optimax 175. With Two people, a full tank of gas and the livewell full it will do 42 mph at wot. I also have a T-Top. Yours should really fly I would expect a top speed of high forties with your set-up. Mine has a cruise speed of 32 MPH and eats about 10 gallons per hour at that speed.I use mine for fishing in Lake Erie and Lake Chautauqua in summer and for the Gulf of Mexico and the Florida Keys in Spring and Fall. So far we have really liked this boat. |

Congratulations with your Super Boat.I have bought a used 210 Outrage here in Holland in Europe just 2 months ago, fitted with a 225 SaltWater Optimax and she´s great fun. Usage when bought 36 Hours! I just put down a new topic for what propeller to use for optimum performance, however, my 210 does 52 Knts when fully trimmed out. I presume your boat will reach approx. 45 knts at least. The 4 stroke is just not as fast as due to weight etc., but makes a lot less nois. You will discover that this boat can really jump and corner as no Whaler before. I have another one, a 20 Outrage ´88 with 200 Johnson VRO, which is also a very nice boat but not as good as the 210. I wish you a lot of fun, which I am sure you will have. Best regards, Jörgen |

I had a 97 OR 21 w/ Yamaha 225EFI. No T-top, cool day, light load -- 50 mph. Typical loads 47-48 mph, cruised nicely at 3500-4000 rpm and 30-35mph. |
