I wonder if someone knows of a mounting bracket that I can use to put a kicker on my 150 Sport.

I know of no manufactured kicker motor bracket for the 150 Sport. However, you could do as this owner of a classic 15 did, and design and build your own:

Rather than working around a motor well, as he had to, you'll be working around the boarding steps, which prevent through-bolting in that area.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for the info!! That is a fantastic design. My boat does not have boarding steps so this looks like it will work very well. Any ideas on how to print the specs out. I can't figure out how to re-size the diagrams to get them all on one page. Thanks again,

Your boarding steps are molded in inside the hull in the stern corners.

Right-click on each picture and select Save Picture As... to save it on your computer. Open them with Microsoft Paint and print them from there.

Sorry... didn't read the part about getting them all on one page. Try Microsoft Photo Editor under Microsoft Office Tools.

When you click Print, select Printer Properties and select Landscape. Once that's done, select Fit To Page.

Many thanks Moe. I'm off to the local machine shop to get them made. Looks like there is plenty of room between the steps and the main motor on the transom to through bolt the thing on there. Now my biggest concern is weight and balance. I'm restricted to about 300 lbs back there and already have a 220 lb 60 hp. Thanks again,

john

Please post some digital pictures somewhere when you get it done. If you don't have a place to do so, email 'em to me and I'll host 'em.
