I finally got the photographs posted of my new 1994 OUTRAGE 24,Whale Rider.

The Bimini, and Rails, Benches, and Cooler are custom. The rest speaks for herself.

Currently, I'm putting in a Head, as well as changing the props to SS 4 Blade (Stern Lift model).

Great pictures. Any chance you could remove the front cooler seat and take a picture of the aluminum bracket. Is that a custom fabrication? How is it mounted (e.g. to the deck, console, ...)

[Fixed URI/Hyperlink per suggestions.]

The photographs show a very long Bimini top that covers about double the normal area and several bows. Is that Bimini top made in a single piece of canvas?

It's not a Bimini, it's a PARACHUTE.

Might be tough to wield a fly rod with that bimini! ;)

Sorry I didn't get back to you questions, earlier, but I just returned from fishing Flamingo... what a trip.

Anyhow, the Bimini is actually two pieces. The back section is 9' long. It can be set up independently, or with the front section. The front section is 8' long. The height is 6'7". The front section can not be independently set up, and needs to be attached via a zipper (the white line between the two).

cape_rover, I'll take out the cooler and post a pic. The rail/aluminum on the console was a custom job. There used to be a T-Top on the boat, but since I cruise with a family (and friends - 10+ at a time), I needed more comfort for everyone. I had taken photos of the CC rail/bracket from other BW Outrage 24 boats and gave them to the fabricator. After removing the T-Top, he then identically copied the bracket/rail and connected it to the pre-existing mount locations on the CC, from the former T-Top.

As for a fishing, all I have to do is fold in the two sectinos of Bimini and I have an Open Fisherman.

Lastly, I also have a Spray Hood/Weather Dodger. It covers the bow cushions for the kids and girls so they don't suffer from the heat or sun.

For me, this set up is better than a Cuddy. This is because in a Cuddy, you don't see anything around you.. only the Cuddy walls. In my set up, you always have 360 degree views. That's Cruising!
