Greetings, I just purchased an '01 13' Sport with a 40HP Merc. I'd like to put the boat on a pole lift at my dock, so I'm looking at single, pile mounted lifts. I noticed a 1,200# lift from Tide Tamer that they show pictured with what looks like a 13' Whaler Sport on it. Does anyone have their 13' Sport on a lift? What kind of lift are you using? Is it working out OK? Tide Tamer also makes a 1,500# version, but it's quite a bit more money, and based on my research, the boat and motor weight is around 804lbs dry. Any advice would be most appreciated.......... Thanks! |

I have a 15 Whaler on a single pole 1600# lift. Basically the lift is made for jet ski's. Works fine. Wasn't very expensive $1600 . Got it from Hi Tide boat lifts in Annapolis Got 2 lifts put in at once so maybe that price isn't exactly right |
