sweetdreams	posted 03-09-2005 09:54 PM ET (US)         I have a 170 2003. I would appreciate a point in the right direction. It will be used in fast currents and blowing conditions. I will not modify the bow rail. Is there a model that will fit under the rail?
Marsh	posted 03-10-2005 04:02 PM ET (US)             Minn-Kota "Grip-Glide" models will slide in/out under the bow rail. I have an '04 Montauk 170, with Minn-Kota Riptide RT-65 grip glide mount. It's a 24v unit, and really pushes the boat when at WOT. Chet
