any ideas as to where i might find fuel tank mats for a 1993 montauk?

West Marine sells interlocking deck plastic deck tile gratings. They can be joined, and cut to fit. They are not cheap though, so maybe others here have some better ideas. BillS |

If you have the Tempo 12 gallon tanks you can put in teak blocks to hold the tanks in place. I think it was whalerajm that has the pics on his website |

thanks teak oil,i am using twin 6gal. tanks.I have seen the whaler pads on ebay, will keep watching until then two non skid shower mats, doesn't sound good but they work... |

Go to your local Home Depot floor covering dept and ask for the outdoor interlocking tiles. they look and act just like the expensive marine ones ( they are a little thinner) you get a whole box (about 10 pcs. for less than $10...put them under your fuel tanks cut and fit pieces for the anchor storage compt. and you will have enough left to make a mat for under your feet and put under coolers. oh yes..the fuel will not affect them. |
