Does anyone have experience in swapping out a Merc for another motor on a Nantucket? I am in the market for a Nantucket, but would like to re-power with a 150 Honda.
Any info and advice would be much appreciated!
Thanks.

I just had it done but opted for the Honda BF135 instead of the BF150 because the Boston Whaler dealer had a new leftover 2004 BF135 at a good price.

I paid an extra $2000 for the dealer to remove the brand new Mercury and its guages and install the Honda, its guages and a stainless steel propeller. I know the owner of the Boston Whaler dealership and he made it happen for what I believe is a good price. This is something your average salesman probably could not do without approval from the owner so I suggest you ask to speak to the owner at your local dealership. I believe a 2005 Honda BF150 would have cost me an extra $4000 out the door.
